The EMN Flash „How has the pandemic impacted EU and OECD countries in the migration area?” presents the main research findings of the joint Inform by the European Migration Network (EMN) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) „The impact of COVID-19 in the migration area in EU and OECD countries”. Five Informs published between July 2020 and January 2021 focused on the impact of COVID-19 on the different areas of migration in the EU Members States, Norway and the UK. The comprehensive Inform summarized the key findings of these documents, moreover it seeks to update the Inform's results based on the data available as of 31st of December 2020.
